In the morning, when the first sun ray hugged the trees
We bared our fresh wounds
And comforted each other
As the rays did the healing.
Love was all we had,
In each other's arms,
We found four walls and a roof.
During the midday,
We were roses and incense
As we sealed a thousand promises with kisses.
We popped bottles of champagne
Brewed from our fermented feelings
And love's new name was "us"
At the dusk
When our sun felt sleepy and bade us goodbye
We were egg laying dragons
The ones that broke their own eggs
With their naive untimely kicks.
During the night,
When the first raindrop kissed the soil
We both danced solo in the puddles of our tears.
Our hearts howled in pain when thunders roared
Since four walls and a roof were no more.
