WHAT IS IT THAT YOU TRULY DESIRE?

"The angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified."

 Matthew 5:28.

We are going to talk about the verse you have seen above. I read it this morning and it jumped straight at my face, and my eyes were opened. I bet you know this very same experience when you read a given part of the scripture only for it to "slap" you!

Well, the angel told the women not to fear for he knew they were looking for Jesus Christ who was crucified. For those not familiar with this story, the women were going to mummify the body of Jesus Christ using a particular perfume. On their way, they wondered who would remove the rock at the tomb's entrance but still kept on going. To their surprise, they found the tomb open and encountered the angel who told them the words in Matthew 5:28.

Now, all I want to say and let you know, dear reader is this: if you desire to seek God diligently, do not be afraid. The path of righteousness is thorny and doing what is right/good in this modern world is considered somehow pathetic but do not stop anyway. Keep seeking Jesus Christ, keep reading the word, keep praying, and keep doing what is right according to what Jesus Christ said. The Lord will always be there to help you fight all obstacles in the way as long as your heart is genuinely seeking Him.
